Just sayin’….

20 Mar

I’d put out a lot more if you’d:

scrub the bathtub (more than once every six months)…without me asking.

surprise me by making dinner every now and then…without me asking.

finish the many unfinished projects around our house…without me asking.

help me with the daily household chores… i.e. laundry, dishes, vacuuming, etc… without me asking.

not ASK me to put out every five seconds.

not grumble under your breath and act put out every time I ask for help.

stop acting like I never do anything.

Seems like I’d have a lot more energy for the things you want me to do if you’d take the initiative to help with the things I don’t want to do.

Just sayin’.

Obligations, responsibilities, and grown up stuff always gets in the way of fun, eh?

Actually, I hope my husband doesn’t read this because he will use it as proof that I have no excuse not to put out more.

Obviously, this post was written in a moment of extreme frustration, LOL.
Jessican: You are so lucky to have found a great man who isn't afraid to help around the house. And just to clarify, I do need to say that Jr. is a great guy & he actually cleans better than me… it's just that he gets the urge to do it once every six months. When we know that just doesn't cut it.:)

Sam: Amen, sistah. I say we go get a frosty beer to ring in spring and let them do the laundry.

Kat: That is so true… it's just such a catch 22, LOL. If he would help, I would have more TIME to put out:) Vicious, vicious cycle…..

That bigamist! We’ve GOT to be married to the same guy!
Had that “conversation” just 2 days ago…you’d think I’d just record my own voice bitching and play it on a loop or something after 14 years!! Good luck…

LOL – you crack me up. It is true though. Men just don’t get that we need to feel connected and appreciated in order to want to put out. That’s because they could be on their deathbeds and still want it. 🙂
