Dear Jalyn,
I’m glad that you didn’t injure yourself when you rolled out of your bed last night. And I’m doubly sorry that I didn’t even hear you crash. My bad. But don’t expect me to not take pictures when I walk in and all I see is your little butt sticking out from underneath the bed. If that’s how you want to sleep, that’s cool, but I will document it for future laughs. That’s just how I roll.
Still giggling,
Mommy
Dear Carl,
Thank you so much for hosting the RIP 2009 Challenge. It’s amazing how you find the time to be so gracious to all your partipants. But I would like you to know that I’m having a hard time reading for this thing– I’m too busy clicking on the awesome blogs your challenge has exposed me to!!
Grateful, but still not reading,
Jessica
Dear Wade,
I’m embarassed to read your newest book in public. I literally laugh out loud at least once on every page. Have I mentioned that I sometimes snort when I laugh? It’s downright embarassing. I won’t even talk about the bladder control issues.
Mortified, but loving your book,
Jess
Dear Dishes,
Please wash yourself.
Too tired to deal with your crap,
Jess
Dear Bloggy Friends,
How did I ever survive without you?? Thank you for making me smile and reading my not-so-insightful thoughts.
Blessed to be on your blogroll,
Overflowing Bookshelf Girl
P.S. A big THANK YOU to Amanda for kicking off the letter writing each week!

Ha! No, I’m on there a lot, posting links and responding with absurdities to others’ absurd comments, updates and quiz results. I’m officially an addict. 🙂

Can you teach my dishes to wash themselves, too? Oh, and the laughing in public? I do that, too.

Yeah! I’m not alone in my quirks!! What I think is even funnier, is that when you try to explain to someone why you’re laughing, it just doesn’t make any sense because it’s totally out of context for them, since they aren’t reading the book. Does that make sense? 🙂

Makes perfect sense! I explain the joke and then slap my leg with a fake laugh to illustrate the point of hilarity. Doesn’t help.

Great letters! I’m gonna have to check that author’s books out! And I love that you took pictures of the little butt. I would’ve too!

Thanks, Macey!! And yes, please do check out Wade’s titles. He is hysterical AND a fantastic writer–not something you encounter together that often:)

I finally figured out (Amanda told me how) to follow you in your new location! Aww, I love it when I find the kids sleeping that way, with their little booty’s sticking up!

YEAH!! Miss Rose made her way over here to the new, improved OB:) I’m a major sucker for any type of sleeping baby picture. They are just so adorable when they aren’t talking. HA! I kid, I kid…:)

Thank you!! That’s so sweet. Sometimes I think it sounds funny, then I re-read the next day and it doesn’t seem quite as humorous then:) Funny how that works when you’re blogging so late at night, LOL!
