I’m Diggin’ It!

08 Oct

On this cold, rainy night full of lightening and thunder, I thought it would be fun to just write a little post about the things I’ve been diggin’ lately.  Hopefully, you will share yours with me as well!  So here we go….in no particular order, of course:

Lovespell lotion from Victoria’s Secret.  I fluctuate betweeen what scents I use, depending on my mood. Right now I’m stuck on Lovespell.  It’s clean, grapefruity scent is absolute perfection!

DarkFever by Karen Marie Moning.  I’m always looking for great reads, so a BIG thank you goes out to Fuzzy Cricket  for opening my eyes to this series. I’m about halfway thru the first one, and loving it!

My Halloween coffee mug. I was feeling lazy and stole these pics from google, but the mug in the back of this photo looks a lot like mine.

Tabasco.  I’ve always liked spicy foods and sauces, but lately, my fixation is on Tabasco.  It just really hits the spot during this fall weather, I guess.  Darrell had to go buy a new bottle cause I finished up our old one… oops!

Tabasco

Of course, it goes without saying that I’m also diggin’ my kids and their witty personalities and my husband and his amazing back rubs:)

What’s floating your boat these days?

Not tabasco sauce, that’s for sure! I cannot do spicy! Hmm, what floats my boat these days…right now lysol does since my husband is sick, and curel lotion to help my tattoo heal, I just went to the nail salon recently and had some nails put on, they are floating my boat pretty well except for making it a tad hard to type!

LOl- I almost mentioned that the cover was NOT what I would have chosen for the book. Who in the world designs these things? It’s truly a fantastic story-but I bet the cover turns a lot of people away from it. So sad.

I also am loving my apple cinammon candles right now. So autumn-ish smelling:) Glad you guys are FINALLY having some cooperative weather!

I love a citrusey scent! I don’t do flowery. And I am SOOOO glad you’re enjoying the Fever series. I just finished the latest one; cliff hanger ending. Ack! And no date as to when the final book will even written. Sigh. But I think I know what Barrons is. *dun dun DUN* We go through Tabasco and Frank’s Hot Sauce like crazy around here. It goes in stew, on scrambled eggs, barbecue…

Ix-nay on the flowery scents for me too. I’m all about fruity when it comes to body scents. But my all time favorite is one that has been discontinued by Gap, called Grass. I guess I love to smell like a freshly mown lawn;) I am going to have to search for Frank’s Hot Sauce. Sounds like just our thing!

Chelle– I’m glad you enjoyed it. I think the stories get better as the series progresses. You know how it is- the first book is spent building up all the background story, but in the second and third, she really gets in her groove. Plus, an added backstory about Eric is reason enough to keep reading. And that’s ALL I’m gonna say about that:) Hope you & your sweet little family are all well!
